These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, tours, and services provided by Gedi Routes. By booking a trip with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Introduction

Gedi Routes organizes day trips, overnight tours, domestic tours, and international travel experiences. These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • A booking is confirmed only after the required payment has been received and acknowledged by Gedi Routes.
  • Confirmation details, itineraries, and trip instructions will be shared through our official communication channels, including email and WhatsApp.

3. Eligibility to Book

  • The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age.
  • If booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that all participants have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change due to operational costs, fuel prices, currency fluctuations, taxes, or government charges.
  • Any applicable price increase after booking must be paid before departure.
  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.

5. Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Only services specifically listed in the itinerary are included.
  • Any service not expressly stated, including personal expenses, attraction entry fees, meals (unless specified), gratuities, or optional activities, is excluded.
  • Gedi Routes is not responsible for assumptions made regarding trip inclusions.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

  • Carrying valid identification and any required travel documents.
  • Following instructions provided by tour leaders, drivers, and local authorities.
  • Safeguarding their personal belongings.

Gedi Routes shall not be liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the trip.

Gedi Routes reserves the right to remove any guest from a coach, tour, or activity if they:

  • Disrupt the group experience.
  • Fail to follow safety instructions.
  • Harass staff or fellow travellers.
  • Consume prohibited substances.
  • Breach these Terms & Conditions.

No refund will be provided where removal results from misconduct.

8. Pick-Up, Drop-Off & Punctuality

  • Guests must arrive at their designated pick-up location on time.
  • Coaches will depart according to schedule and cannot wait for late arrivals.
  • Missed departures are not eligible for refunds or alternative arrangements.
  • Gedi Routes is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.

9. Itinerary Changes

Gedi Routes reserves the right to amend itineraries, schedules, destinations, or services where necessary due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic or road closures
  • Safety concerns
  • Government regulations
  • Operational requirements
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

Such changes shall not entitle customers to refunds or compensation.

10. Trip Cancellation by Gedi Routes

Gedi Routes may cancel a trip if:

  • Minimum participant numbers are not met.
  • Safety concerns arise.
  • Operational issues occur.
  • Government restrictions apply.
  • Weather conditions make travel unsafe.
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent operation.

In these cases, guests will receive a full refund of monies paid. No additional compensation will be payable.

11. Vehicle Breakdown

In the event of a vehicle breakdown that prevents the trip from continuing, guests will receive a full refund.

12. Seat Allocation

  • Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
  • Gedi Routes reserves the right to reassign seats where required for operational, logistical, or safety reasons.

13. Children & Guardianship

  • Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Parents or legal guardians remain fully responsible for the supervision, safety, and behaviour of children throughout the trip.

14. Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to vehicles, accommodation, venues, or property during a trip.

Gedi Routes reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs from the responsible individual(s).

15. Third-Party Services

Gedi Routes may arrange services provided by third-party suppliers, including transport operators, hotels, restaurants, and attractions.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, or service failures of third-party providers.

16. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is not included in any Gedi Routes package.
  • Guests are strongly encouraged to arrange suitable travel and medical insurance before departure.
  • Gedi Routes shall not be liable for costs, losses, or damages resulting from a lack of insurance coverage.

17. Personal Injury, Accident & Loss of Life

Participation in travel activities involves inherent risks.

By booking and participating in a trip, guests acknowledge and accept these risks.

Gedi Routes shall not be liable for injury, illness, accidents, loss of life, or damages resulting from:

  • Actions or negligence of the guest.
  • Actions of third parties.
  • Natural events or environmental conditions.
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused directly by proven negligence of Gedi Routes where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

18. Medical Fitness & Medication Responsibility

  • Guests confirm that they are medically fit to travel.
  • Guests are responsible for carrying sufficient medication for the duration of the trip.
  • Gedi Routes does not provide medical treatment or medication during tours.

We accept no responsibility for medical complications arising from a guest's failure to carry necessary medication.

19. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Meals included in tours may be provided through third-party restaurants or catering providers.

Guests with allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements must inform both restaurant staff and the tour leader before consuming food.

Gedi Routes shall not be liable for allergic reactions or food-related issues where adequate disclosure has not been made.

20. Customer Cancellation Policy

Day Tours

All Day Tour bookings are final and non-refundable.

Domestic Overnight Tours

  • Cancellation 10 days or more before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation within 10 days of departure: No refund.

International Overnight Tours

  • Cancellation 12 days or more before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation within 12 days of departure: No refund.

Special Tours (Customised or Limited Availability)

  • Cancellation 12 days or more before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation within 12 days of departure: No refund.

Cancellation periods are calculated based on the scheduled departure date.

Bookings remain subject to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking, regardless of future policy changes.

21. Denied Entry or Restrictions

If a guest is denied entry to a location, attraction, venue, or country due to:

  • Missing documentation
  • Legal restrictions
  • Personal conduct
  • Existing bans or restrictions

No refund or compensation will be provided.

22. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be transferred directly to the customer's bank account.
  • Refunds are generally processed within 7–14 working days following verification of the required documents and payment details.
  • Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.

23. Force Majeure

Gedi Routes shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, interruptions, or disruptions resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes or civil unrest
  • Acts of God

24. Complaints

  • Any issue should be reported to the tour leader during the trip whenever possible.
  • Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of trip completion.

25. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

27.Photography & Media Consent

During trips, tours, and events operated by Gedi Routes, photographs and videos may be taken by our team, tour leaders, partners, or other authorised representatives for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

By participating in a trip, guests acknowledge and agree that images, videos, and recordings in which they may appear can be used by Gedi Routes across its website, social media channels, advertising materials, brochures, and other marketing content without compensation.

Guests who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must notify Gedi Routes in writing before the trip or inform the tour leader at the start of the tour. While reasonable efforts will be made to respect such requests, Gedi Routes cannot guarantee exclusion from all group photographs or public recordings.

Guests may not claim compensation, royalties, or ownership rights relating to any media content used by Gedi Routes for lawful promotional purposes.

26. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a trip with Gedi Routes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
