Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which bookings made with Gedi Routes may be cancelled and whether a refund may be issued.

By booking a trip with Gedi Routes, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Day Tours

All Day Tour bookings are final and non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations, missed departures, late arrivals, or no-shows.

2. Domestic Overnight Tours

For Domestic Overnight Tours:

  • Cancellation made 10 days or more before the scheduled departure date: 50% refund of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation made within 10 days of departure: No refund.

3. International Overnight Tours

For International Overnight Tours:

  • Cancellation made 10 days or more before the scheduled departure date: 50% refund of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation made within 10 days of departure: No refund.

4. Special Tours (Customised or Limited Availability)

Special Tours, including customised trips and limited-availability tours, follow the same cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation made 12 days or more before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation made within 12 days of departure: No refund.

5. Calculation of Cancellation Period

Cancellation timelines are calculated based on the scheduled departure date of the trip and not the date the booking was made.

6. Trip Cancellation by Gedi Routes

Gedi Routes reserves the right to cancel a trip due to:

  • Insufficient participant numbers
  • Operational issues
  • Safety concerns
  • Government restrictions
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, customers will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

No additional compensation shall be payable beyond the refund amount.

7. Removal From a Trip Due to Misconduct

Gedi Routes reserves the right to remove any guest from a trip if they:

  • Breach our Terms & Conditions
  • Misbehave or disrupt other travellers
  • Fail to follow safety instructions
  • Harass staff or fellow guests
  • Engage in unsafe or inappropriate conduct

Guests removed from a trip due to misconduct will not be entitled to any refund.

8. Denied Entry

If a guest is denied entry to a destination, attraction, venue, or country due to:

  • Missing travel documents
  • Legal restrictions
  • Personal conduct
  • Existing bans or restrictions

Gedi Routes shall not be responsible for refunds, losses, or compensation.

9. Unused Services

No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a trip after departure, including but not limited to:

  • Transportation
  • Accommodation
  • Meals
  • Activities
  • Attraction tickets
  • Optional services

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be transferred directly to the customer's bank account or original payment method where applicable.

Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 working days after the required information and supporting documents have been received and verified.

Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.

11. Policy Changes

Gedi Routes reserves the right to amend or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time.

However, all bookings will remain subject to the cancellation policy that was in effect at the time the booking was made.
